Neoen acknowledge Tasmanian Aboriginal people as the traditional owners of the Land on which the Great Lakes Battery is located. We pay respects to Elders past and present for they hold the memories, the knowledge, and the culture and hopes of Aboriginal Tasmania.

Discover Careers in Renewable Energy!

Neoen has launched a new game, Futureville, to help students in Years 9 to 12 learn about all the possible careers in renewable energy.

This free educational resource is available online on our Learning Hub website and can be used by parents, teachers and anyone looking to explain the diversity of opportunities present in this sector.

Students choose from 6 characters with a different personality type and hop around a town meeting 57 workers in the renewable energy sector. They get tasked with finding a specific employee or worker who needs their help in overcoming a challenge (mini game) in the process of building a clean energy project.

Throughout the game and after playing it, students get to save ‘trading cards’ with detailed information on the jobs that they find most attractive. They can download, print and research about these jobs later.
